Hi I'm Eliot, I’m an IT professional with a strong foundation in cyber security and hands-on experience across multiple technical environments. I hold a Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Cyber Security from Cambridge, where I developed a solid understanding of secure systems, networking, and threat mitigation.
My experience spans both infrastructure and end-user support. I have worked with Colleges, contributing to network infrastructure setup and maintenance, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity for staff and students. In a more hands-on engineering role at Val-U-Computers, I specialised in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining desktop and laptop systems, delivering practical solutions to a wide range of hardware and software issues.
While working with the NHS East of England Ambulance Service Trust, I supported critical IT systems used by frontline paramedics and control room staff. This included ensuring devices and systems remained operational in time-sensitive situations, where reliability directly impacts emergency response. Supporting users in this environment strengthened my ability to troubleshoot under pressure, communicate clearly with non-technical staff, and deliver fast, effective solutions when they matter most.
I’m particularly interested in supporting independent and small businesses. Having seen the strength of the independent business community in Norwich, I value the role local businesses play, not just professionally, but personally as well. I enjoy shopping with independent retailers and supporting them wherever I can, which naturally connects with my interest in helping them get the most out of their technology in a way that’s practical, reliable, and suited to their needs.
I’m passionate about technology, problem-solving, and continuously developing my skills across IT support, networking, and cyber security.
Remote support for both Microsoft Windows and macOS, covering a wide range of services such as software installation and setup, system updates, performance optimisation, and in-depth error diagnosis. Assistance includes troubleshooting crashes, resolving compatibility issues, removing malware, configuring settings, and guiding users through fixes step by step. Whether it’s a minor glitch or a more complex system problem, support is delivered efficiently and securely without the need for an in-person visit.
On-site visits available upon request within Norwich only, providing hands-on support for hardware-related faults where remote assistance isn’t sufficient. Services include diagnosing and resolving network connectivity problems, repairing or replacing faulty components, and troubleshooting issues with PoS (Point of Sale) systems such as Square POS.
Support can also extend to cabling faults, router and switch configuration, peripheral setup, and general system health checks.
Each visit is tailored to restore functionality quickly while minimising disruption for homes and businesses across Norwich.
I can work closely with your company to design and deliver reliable IT systems and ongoing support, tailored specifically to your needs. This includes planning and implementing infrastructure, recommending suitable hardware and software, and ensuring everything integrates smoothly with your existing setup.
From initial consultation through to deployment and long-term maintenance, support is adapted to your business goals—whether that involves improving performance, strengthening security, or scaling your systems as you grow.
Alongside this, I will also include remote, and on-site support.
